Stitch is the new haberdashery and workshop studio now open at
Wakefield County Courtyard.
Stephanie &
Grant Burnham the owner’s of the Bead Scene Studio have opened a
second studio next door with the emphasis on everything to do with
textiles and embellishment.
Vintage
Stitch stocks everything you would expect including: ribbon, yarn,
needles, felt, fabric bolts and packs, buttons, books, threads,
trimmings and embellishments, to name but a few. We also stock a
fantastic range of fashion jewellery, handbags and accessories.
At
the heart of our new studio is a larger workshop table which can sit
up to 14 students. We will be running every kind of workshop
including: beading, sewing, patchwork, upholstery, knitting,
embroidery, stumpwork, felting, crochet, painting etc.
We
also hold Beading Buddies on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am to
3pm and on Fridays, Knit and Natter. This is a chance for you to
bring your own project along to work on with a chance to sit and
chat with like-minded people. The cost of each day is £5.00, which
includes tea and coffee - all you need to do is bring along your own
packed lunch.
